      • Playfight Event Participation and Facilitator Program Policy

        Welcome to Playfight!

We are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and transformative space where participants can explore connection, emotional resilience, and self-expression through embodied interaction. To ensure a positive experience for everyone, please carefully read the following policy before registering for a Playfight event or the Facilitator Program.

        1. Eligibility for Participation

        1.1. General Events

Open to individuals aged 18 and over. Participants under 18 must provide written consent from a legal guardian.

Participants must be in good physical and mental health to engage in physical activities that involve movement, controlled confrontation, and emotional expression.

If you have any medical conditions, physical injuries, or psychological concerns, inform the facilitator before the event. Participation is at your own risk; consult a medical professional if unsure.

        1.2. Facilitator Program

In addition to the above criteria, applicants should have prior experience with Playfight or similar practices.

Acceptance into the program may require an application process, including interviews or prerequisite workshops.

        2. Code of Conduct

        2.1. Respect and Consent

Consent is at the core of Playfight. No action is forced. You can always opt out, pause, or stop at any moment.

Respect others’ boundaries at all times. Non-consensual behavior will not be tolerated.

Aggressive, violent, or disrespectful behavior leads to immediate exclusion from the event without a refund.

        2.2. Confidentiality

What happens during Playfight stays within the group. Sharing others’ personal experiences outside the event is strictly prohibited.

        2.3. Substance-Free Space

Participants must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during the event.

        2.4. Hygiene and Attire

        Wear comfortable, movement-friendly clothing.

Maintain good personal hygiene out of respect for other participants.

Avoid strong perfumes or lotions that could cause discomfort.

        3. Safety Guidelines

        3.1. Listening to Your Limits

Honor your body and emotions. Do not push yourself beyond your capacity.

Inform the facilitator immediately if you feel unsafe or need to stop.

        3.2. Physical Safety

Playfight involves controlled physical interaction, but safety is a priority.

Follow the facilitator’s guidance on techniques and safety measures.

If an injury occurs, notify the facilitator immediately.

        3.3. Emotional Safety

Emotional reactions may arise. Facilitators are present to support, but participants are responsible for their own well-being.

If you experience distress, you may step aside or ask for assistance.

        4. Registration & Payment

4.1. How to Register and paying a deposit

Registration must be completed online or in person before the event.

A deposit of €190 is required to reserve your place for the event or program. Your spot is confirmed only after the deposit (pay here) is received.

If you have a referral or discount code, quote this in the registration form. Event discounts are deducted from the total cost, which is paid in full about a month before the event begins. All deposits must be paid in full.

        4.2. Payment Methods

Payments can be made via bank transfer, PayPal, credit card, or cash (if applicable).

Full payment is required to secure your spot.

        5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

        5.1. Cancellation by the Participant

30 days or more before the event: The booking fee is converted into a €190 voucher valid for 15 months.

During the month before the event: €50 is retained, and a €190 voucher valid for 15 months is issued.

Less than 7 days before the event or no-shows: The entire deposit is retained, and no voucher is issued.

        5.2. Cancellation by Playfight

If Playfight cancels the event, participants are offered a €250 voucher valid for 15 months (€190 deposit + €60 bonus for the inconvenience) or a full reimbursement of €190 via bank transfer.

        5.3. Travel Expenses

Playfight is unable to reimburse any travel expenses. Please hold off on booking your travel until we confirm the event is going ahead.

        5.4. Transfer of Registration

If you cannot attend, you may transfer your registration to someone else by notifying the organizer at least 24 hours before the event.

        5.5. Facilitator Program Specifics

Due to the extended nature of the Facilitator Program, specific cancellation terms apply. Your payment grants full access to all program materials, resources, and facilitator support. By proceeding with your payment, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

Payments of the facilitator program are non-refundable once processed. In case of changes, instead of a refund, you will receive a 15-month voucher valid for any future event or program hosted by the academy. The voucher is, non transferable to others, usable for any kind of our retreats with Matteo Tangi and valid for 15 month from the issue date.

        6. Liability Waiver

        6.1. Assumption of Risk

By participating in Playfight, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with physical and emotional engagement.

You release the organizers, facilitators, and venue from any liability for injuries, emotional distress, or other issues arising from participation.

        6.2. Responsibility for Personal Belongings

Playfight is not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings. Please keep valuables safe.

        7. Photography & Media Consent

        7.1. Event Documentation

Some events may be photographed or recorded for promotional or educational purposes.

You can opt out by informing the organizer in advance.

        7.2. Use of Media

Any content recorded by the organization may be used in social media, website promotions, or educational material.

Participants may not record or take pictures of others without explicit consent.

        8. Agreement to the Policy

By registering for a Playfight event or the Facilitator Program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in being asked to leave without a refund.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us before the event.

We look forward to an empowering and enriching experience together!
