Years ago we had what we called the Advanced Training, where Matteo was teaching Intentional Playfight. Over time we understood that Intentional Playfights need a dedicated coaching space. That is how the Coach Program was born.

However, we kept the name Advanced Training, which gave the impression that new advanced skills were being taught there.

In reality, this stage is about completion and integration. After a year of practice, it is a space to return, assist, refine your presence, receive feedback, and embody what you have learned.

For clarity, we are now renaming it Assistant Hours.

New requirement for certification:
To complete the Facilitator Program and receive the Playfight Facilitator certification, you must complete a minimum of 30 hours of Assistance with Matteo, or with another certified Playfight Coach if previously agreed.

This replaces the former Advanced Training requirement.

You can decide to assist in the Immersion or both Immersion and Facilitator Training. Assistants do not pay the immersion fee. They cover accommodation and food. In exchange, they receive close access to the work, learning through observation and practice, responsibility, trust, and feedback.

Language: English (understanding needed)
Prerequisite: Having completed a Facilitator Training

THE VENUE
Samskara retreat center is located 1.5 hours from Reykjavik, immersed in Iceland’s generous nature. A quiet heaven surrounded by striking landscapes, it offers space to slow down, reset, and grow. The heart of the place is the light-filled glasshouse used as the seminar room. A setting that invites calm, clarity, and depth [MAP].
